“The Big South Conference has excellent coaches and quality programs that will provide an always exciting January and February for our fans, campus, and community leading into March,” said Coach Kerns, who is in his first season with the Blue Hose. “We are excited about the upcoming season as we begin practice this upcoming Friday, September 29th.”
The men’s basketball team will look to begin new traditions during the 2017-18 campaign. During the season Coach Kerns is inviting all kids present at the game to come into the locker-room after wins for the post-game huddle and breakdown. Also, all weekend home games will be played at 4 p.m., with the exception of Nov. 11.

PC closes out the 2017 year with a home game against Radford Saturday, Dec. 30, before opening the new year with a road contest at Longwood, Jan. 3, and Liberty, Jan. 6.
Home games against Campbell Jan. 9, and UNC Asheville, Jan. 12, await the Blue Hose before they head to High Point, Jan. 15, and Gardner-Webb, Jan. 18.
PC plays a rare Sunday home game against Winthrop Jan. 21, with a weekday trip to Charleston Southern on Jan. 24, next on the schedule.
The Blue Hose open the second half of the conference season at home with a two-game stand against the Flames, Jan. 27, and the Lancers, Feb. 1. PC heads back on the road Feb. 3, at UNC Asheville, and Winthrop, Feb. 7.
The Bucs come to Clinton, Feb. 19, with the Panthers in town Feb. 15. The Blue Hose head to Radford Feb. 18, before closing out the home regular season against the Runnin’ Bulldogs Feb. 22.
PC rounds out the regular season on the road at Campbell, Feb. 27.
