Due to illness, Maddox was not present to receive his award at practice on Wednesday.

Laurens Academy lineman Johnathan Maddox was recognized as the GoLaurens.com Player of the Week for his play in the Williamsburg Academy game last week. In the 12-10 loss to Williamsburg, Maddox was credited with seven tackles and two forced fumbles.
