Laurens Academy traveled to Dillon Christian Friday night to face the reigning State Champions. The Crusaders quickly found out why Dillon was the number one team in the state only a year ago as the Warriors flexed their preverbial muscles taking down Laurens Academy 42-0.
"They are just a great football team...bigger, stronger, faster and in my opinion they will walk through the championships this year," said LA Head Coach Todd Kirk. Coach Kirk added that the Crusaders struggled with execution against the Warriors. "We had four interceptions...just didn't execute well."
This loss leaves Laurens Academy at 5-4 overall. They will start preparing for WW King on Monday.
