| Culbertson leads Crusaders past Crescent |

With a one-hit pitching performance by Ryland Culbertson, the Laurens Academy varsity baseball team hosted and defeated Crescent High School 2-1 on Monday. Culbertson improved to 5-2 for the season on the mound giving up one run off a solo homerun with 11 strikeouts.
Culbertson helped himself by hitting a game tying solo homerun in the fourth. JE Satterfield's RBI double in the fifth became the winning run. Christian Greene added a single and a run scored.
The Crusaders are 9-7(2-0) and travel to Wardlaw Academy on Tuesday for a double header and a shot at the region title.
