Early morning traffic stop leads to three arrests on multiple drug charges

Three people were arrested on multiple drug charges after an early morning traffic stop in Laurens on Monday.

Officers with the Laurens Police Dept. executed a traffic stop on East Main Street near Laurens City Park just after 1:30am. While searching the vehicle, officers located an unidentified amount of marijuana, three white pills identified as Xanax and 2.6 grams of meth.

Shelly Brooke Ray, 32, of 307 Beauregard St. in Clinton, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute in proximity to a park, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Susan Lynn Case, 49, of 1817 Hwy. 92 in Gray Court, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute in proximity to a park, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Harold Andrew Case, Jr., 37, of 1847 Hwy. 92 in Gray Court, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession with intent to distribute in proximity to a park and possession of a controlled substance.

All three subjects were transported and booked at the Johnson Detention Center.
