Laurens police arrests three on prostitution charges

Two men and one woman were arrested on Thursday by the Laurens Police Dept. and charged with prostitution.

According to reports, the incidents occurred behind a vacant house on Price St. in Laurens.

Shina Renee Little, 30, of Charlotte, NC, was charged with prostitution for allegedly offering sex in exchange for $100, the report said.

Marquevius Javell Brown, 26, of 215 Price St. in Laurens, was charged with prostitution. Reports indicate that Brown met with Little behind the vacant house and agreed to pay $100 in exchange for sex.

Eric Rico Hill, 29, of 304 Bailey St. in Clinton was charged with prostitution and assault and battery. According to reports, Hill allegedly met with Little behind the vacant house and agreed to pay $100 for sex.

The assault and battery charge was brought after Hill allegedly struck the victim in the face and head with his fist at the Price St. location.

All three individuals were transported and booked at the Johnson Detention Center.
