Robert Paul “Buck” Bolt - Laurens

Robert Paul “Buck” Bolt, age 84, of 110 Cedar Street, and husband of the late June Mitchell Bolt, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017, at The Hospice of Laurens County, Hospice House.

Born in Laurens, he was a son of the late Clyde and Ola Seay Bolt.  Buck was previously the co-owner of Buck’s Auction, along with his wife.  He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and the James McElhannon Sunday School Class.

Surviving are his son, Jim Binns and wife Judy of Laurens; grandchildren, Josh Binns, and Andrea Small; great-grandchildren, Haley Small, and Ainsley Small; brother, Don Price and wife Doris; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, Buck was predeceased by 6 siblings, Mary Bruce, Marie DeYoung, Virginia Morris, Kay Donald, Ollie Mae Bolt, and Jack Bolt.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. J.D. Putman, Jr., with burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The Kennedy Mortuary one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastside Baptist Church, 355 Conway Avenue, Laurens, SC  29360.
