Lynn Chapman Burns - Murrells Inlet

Lynn Chapman Burns of 880 Nandina Lane, Murrells Inlet, SC passed in peace Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the age of 60.  She was the loving mother of Dana Alyssa Fulmer (Scot) and grandmother of Silas Makai, due to arrive on May 11th.

Surviving in addition to her daughter are her mother, Dolores Trussell Chapman from Laurens; sisters, Angie Chapman Pitts (Jerry) from Laurens and Lara Chapman Powers, niece, Jolie Rae Powers and nephew, Sam Burke Powers from Ketchikan, Ak. Lynn was predeceased by her father, Charles Ray 'Sam' Chapman.

Born September 28, 1956 in Greenwood, South Carolina, Lynn grew up in Laurens County and attended  Lander College in Greenwood, South Carolina. She spent most of her adult life in her beloved Murrells Inlet. She had cherished friends, loved her cats and fought courageously  for months to stay with us.

A Celebration of Life is planned in Murrells Inlet on Sunday, March 12, 2017.  

Family and friends will gather at the home of Jerry and Angie Pitts on Tues., March 14, after 3:00.
