Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late John Garlington and Sarah Kathleen Lynch Nelson. Linda was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and retired from Whitten Center as a LPN.
Surviving are her daughters, Karon Bridges (Brian) of Joanna, Sharon Frazier (Reggie L.) of Waterloo, and Wendy Talley (Timmy) of Waterloo; grandchildren, Stephen Rhodes (Tiffany), Kayla Littleton (Charlie), Reggie J. Frazier (Adrian), Brandon Frazier, Halli Talley, Aaron Talley, Tyler Talley, and Blaine Quarles; great-grandchildren, Mason, Alyssa, Jersey, Zanna, Akyle, Dannilynn, and Trandon; expectant great-grands, Ivory Ella and Nathaniel; sister-in-law, Margaret Nelson; aunt, Frances Fowler; nieces, Cindy Quarles and Kim Watkins (Donavon); great-nieces, Tonya Chapman (Justin), and Danielle Quarles; and a host of additional loving nieces and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, Linda was predeceased by her brother, John Larry Nelson; and a great-great nephew, Justin Lewis Chapman, Jr.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the graveside service.
