Wardlaw Academy blanks Crusaders, 62-0

Wardlaw Academy cruised past the Laurens Academy Crusaders 62-0 on Thursday night at Todd Kirk Field.

The game was moved to Thursday night due to the threat of inclement weather on Friday night.

Laurens Academy managed just 52 yards of total offense against the defending SCISA state champions, including 28 yards rushing and 24 yards receiving.

Defensively, Kenny Langston led the Crusaders with eight tackles, followed by Cal Robertson with seven. Diamonte Grant and Joshua Moore had six tackles each.

The Crusaders will play at Andrew Jackson Academy next Friday night at 7:30pm.
