Todd tied for second going into match play at USGA Mid-Amateur

Laurens native Thomas Todd shot a second round 66 on Monday to put himself in a three-way tie for second place at the USGA Mid-Amateur in Atlanta.

Todd opened with a 71 in the first round and followed it up with a 66 in the final day of stroke play at the Capital City Club.

Bradford Tilley, of Easton, CT, is in first place at 5 under. Todd is tied with Scott Anderson, of Columbus, OH, and Stewart Hagestad, of Newport Beach, CA, at 4 under.

Todd has advanced to the match play round of 64 on Tuesday. He tees off at 11:40am.
