PENDLETON -- Senior Tamia Grate popped six three-pointers and scored 24 points, leading Pendleton to a 67-29 victory over Clinton Monday night and eliminating the Lady Red Devils from the Class 3A basketball playoffs in the opening round.

Head coach Tim Wood has led his Lady Bulldogs to three consecutive region championships and an 82-17 record over that span.

Kameryn Oliver added 14 points as Pendleton outscored Clinton (12-16) 24-6 in the opening quarter and led 44-13 at halftime.

"They hit some tough shots early, including eight threes in the first half," Clinton head coach John Gardner said. "I'm proud of our competitiveness, and the girls continued to fight. We have had an amazing year with many young players who have gained valuable experience for the future."

Junior Savanna Campbell led the Lady Red Devils with nine points.
