FARMVILLE, VA. – Longwood used a 17-5 run, and shot over 65% in the second half, to help erase a halftime deficit and rally past the Presbyterian College men’s basketball team, 79-76, in Big South action Wednesday evening in Farmville, Va. PC got back to within three with a few seconds remaining but a potential three-point to tie the game fell just short. Four Blue Hose scored in double-figures in the contest.
The Presbyterian College women’s basketball team started off Big South conference play with a 65-55 victory over Longwood on Tuesday night at the Templeton Center in Clinton, S.C. The Blue Hose improve to 3-9 on the season and 1-0 in the Big South, while the Lancers fall to 3-9, 0-1.
