The Laurens Raiders softball team kicked off the 2014 regular season schedule with a thrilling victory over Greenwood on Tuesday night as they defeated the Eagles 10-7.

The Laurens Raiders remained undefeated on the season with a 4-3 region win over the Greenwood Eagles on Tuesday night in Greenwood.

The Presbyterian College baseball team fell behind early to the Pitt Panthers and could not recover, falling in a 12-3 result at Fluor Field in Greenville.

The Presbyterian College football team is set to begin preparations for the 2014 season with spring practice, which starts Thursday, Mar. 13. 

It was a fun night on the YMCA pitch Monday night as the Laurens YMCA kicked off their 2014 youth soccer season.

The Family YMCA of Greater Laurens Middle School Baseball program opened up last night.  The program added two additional teams this season. The inaugural season was in 2013.

The Presbyterian College men’s basketball team outscored the Highlanders 19-5, in the final five and a half minutes to cut a 15-point game to just one, but the rally fell just short as Radford used clutch free throw shooting to take the five-point, 78-73 win this afternoon at the HTC Center in Conway, S.C., in the opening game of the VisitMyrtleBeach.com Big South Tournament.
