A new era at Laurens County Speedway opened Saturday night when the 2017 season opened with new divisions, and enough noticeable changes to show new track promoter Danny Hurley’s input.

Junior Presbyterian College hurler Tanner Chock threw his second career complete game on Saturday, allowing just one run with a career-high 12 strikeouts to lead PC to the 4-1 victory over Radford to earn the series victory at the PC Baseball Complex. The Blue Hose improve to 14-15 overall and 3-2 in Big South play, while Radford drops to 11-15 overall and 2-3 in the conference.

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Two eighth-inning solo home runs pushed Wofford past the Presbyterian College baseball team, 10-9, on Wednesday night at Fluor Field in Greenville, S.C. The Blue Hose fall to 12-15 this year, while Wofford improves to 12-14.
Jared Cvetko hit a bases-loaded sacrifice fly to score Nick Howell in the bottom of the eleventh inning to give the Laurens Raiders a 6-5 win over the Hillcrest Rams on Tuesday night at Ed Prescott Field.
